I get high with a little help from my friends....
I had a commercial job this past week that required a little bit higher of an angle than my 5'11" stature could handle.
The folks over at La Plata Mill hooked me up with an ingenious piece of equipment. This lift can get you 40 feet off the ground. The amazing thing about this nearly 400 lb piece of equipment is that you can load it into and out of a pick up truck by yourself! It's a brilliant piece of engineering.
I can tell you that from the platform of this lift, when completely raised, is a hair raising experience! 40 feet seems much higher when you're the guy on the platform. It also sways a bit in the wind, just to add to the excitement. The guys over at La Plata Mill said all I needed was a pick up truck and the ability to not look down and they could get me up in the air. There's no truer statement.
